According to police reports, the son, in an inebriated condition, began to threaten his father and demanded money for alcohol and food. When the father declined, the son allegedly resorted to verbal abuse followed by a physical assault.

The accused then reportedly picked up a stone from the ground and struck his father on the left ear, resulting in severe bleeding.
The victim lost consciousness at the scene. An eyewitness, Arif, who works at a nearby shop, tried to intervene but was also threatened by the son before he fled.
Local residents gathered and alerted the victim's other son, who quickly arrived at the scene.
The injured father was transported to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar, where he received stitches on his left ear and is now in a stable condition.
Following the victim’s report, the Sakinaka Police registered a case against the son on January 12 and began an investigation.
The victim revealed to the police that his son is a habitual drinker who frequently argues with him over money and has pressured him to sell their home and shop.
Police officials are actively pursuing the arrest of the accused, with further investigations underway.
