Tehran, April 7 (NationPress) As the deadline set by US President Donald Trump to reopen the Strait of Hormuz approaches, Iran's Foreign Ministry reiterated its steadfast position, claiming that the application of "brute force" will ultimately be unsuccessful.

“The strength of a 'CIVILIZED' nation's culture, logic, and unwavering belief in its righteous cause will assuredly triumph over brute force. A nation that believes wholeheartedly in the justice of its path will mobilize all its resources and capabilities to defend its rights and legitimate interests. Iran will prevail,” stated Esmaeil Baqaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, in a post on X.

Previously, President Trump warned that “a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” indicating a desire for a “complete and total regime change” in Iran and portraying the escalating situation as one of the most critical moments in contemporary global affairs.

In his social media message, Trump conveyed an urgent and stark warning, suggesting imminent destruction could lead to significant political shifts.

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t wish for that outcome, but it is likely,” he stated.

Trump then suggested a major change in Iran’s leadership.

“Now that we are witnessing a complete and total regime change, with new, smarter, and less radical minds in charge, perhaps something revolutionary could occur—who knows?” Trump remarked.

These statements come amidst escalating tensions between the US and Iran, with military actions expanding and diplomatic avenues narrowing.

Trump characterized this moment as historically significant.

“We will discover tonight one of the most crucial moments in the lengthy and intricate history of the World,” he added.

He also critiqued Iran’s leadership since the Islamic Revolution.

“47 years of extortion, corruption, and death will finally come to an end,” Trump stated.

He concluded with a heartfelt appeal: “God Bless the Great People of Iran!”
