Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 24 (NationPress) In the ongoing Mahakumbh at Sangam city Prayagraj, a pavilion dedicated to the Jal Jeevan Mission has been established, showcasing the significant features of the initiative.
The pavilion illustrates the condition of Bundelkhand before and after 2015, highlighting how the community now has access to clean drinking water thanks to this program and how other regions have seen revitalization.
This pavilion has gained immense popularity among visitors attending the Maha Kumbh. Several guests shared their thoughts with IANS.
Ashish Kushwaha, a visitor, told IANS, “Impressive arrangements have been made by the government at the Mahakumbh. The general public should also support the government, which would make the Mahakumbh even more spectacular. Today, people from all over the globe are gathering here for the Mahakumbh. The exhibition reminded me of the past and how human life has transformed. This pavilion showcases the evolving lives of the community. It provides details on every single scheme of the government.”
Archana Chaurasia commended the Jal Jeevan Mission Pavilion, stating, “This exhibition illustrates how there was once a water crisis and how water was delivered via trains. Since PM Modi's arrival, citizens have benefited from facilities like toilets and pensions. Nowadays, people are leading better lives, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing commendable work.”
Rinki Maurya pointed out the substantial changes compared to the past, saying, “What PM Modi is doing is remarkable. Previously, there was no water; now there is water. Since Narendra Modi took office, women are also receiving cylinders.”
It is important to note that the pavilion has been organized by Jal Nigam in Sector-7, Prayagraj, illustrating how people now have access to drinking water under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Additionally, toilet and ration facilities have been made available to the public.
