New Delhi, Feb 24 (NationPress) As the newly formed government prepares to unveil the Comptroller and Auditor General’s (CAG) report in the Delhi Assembly, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh on Monday directed pointed criticism at former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asserting that the extensive corruption prevalent during his tenure will soon come to light.

Chugh claimed that the ‘arrogant emperor’ of the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ and his cadre of fraudsters will find themselves with nowhere to conceal their misdeeds once the CAG report is released.

In an interaction with IANS, Tarun Chugh stressed that the BJP's double-engine government in Delhi is dedicated to fulfilling its pledges to the populace.

"Our government will bring to light those who have participated in fraud and corruption," he declared, underscoring that the CAG report would play a pivotal role in exposing these transgressions.

Chugh accused Kejriwal and his associates of attempting to distract the public from their alleged corrupt practices through misleading statements, which he claimed is a well-known tactic of the former Chief Minister.

He further referred to Kejriwal’s team as a ‘scam company’ and accused them of employing 'misdirection' to divert attention from their shortcomings.

The BJP leader reiterated that the government in Delhi, established under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, is committed to its promises to the capital.

"With Prime Minister Modi at the helm, we will strive to transform Delhi into a developed capital, adhering to the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas," Chugh stated.

Chugh also criticized the Opposition leaders, accusing them of undermining India’s fundamental values and institutions. He condemned those who, in his opinion, are attempting to fracture the nation’s unity by engaging in caste politics and disparaging the nation’s democratic ideals.

He expressed disapproval of attacks on the Maha Kumbh Mela, asserting that such efforts to tarnish the sacred event will not prevail.

"Over 60 crore Sanatanis from across the globe have united for a holy dip in the Maha Kumbh, celebrating India’s unity and faith, transcending caste and creed," he remarked.

Chugh characterized the Maha Kumbh as a representation of India's collective spirit and essence, urging the Opposition to abandon any attempts to disrupt the nation’s unity.
