Vijender Gupta Accuses Kejriwal of Using Bangladeshi Voters for Delhi Elections

New Delhi, Dec 24 (NationPress) Following AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal's claims regarding the supposed removal of voters from the electoral register before the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP leader Vijender Gupta launched a strong attack on Kejriwal, alleging that he is disseminating falsehoods and depending on Bangladeshi voters to succeed in the upcoming elections.
A woman voter from Kidwai Nagar in Delhi, named Chandra, clarified on Tuesday that her name was erroneously associated with Kejriwal's claims, despite her consistent voting record over the years.
Speaking to IANS, the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly stated, "Arvind Kejriwal is persistently engaged in one thing only—lying and securing votes from Bangladeshis. However, this too has now been brought to light. Will Kejriwal govern with the votes of Bangladeshis?"
Gupta also commented on the AAP government's unveiling of the long-awaited water supply initiative in Rajinder Nagar.
"Kejriwal needs to account for the last decade. He should summon the House for a Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report. Fourteen CAG reports have been created, yet not a single one has been presented on the floor of the Vidhan Sabha," Gupta emphasized, challenging the government's integrity.
He criticized the AAP administration regarding the serious pollution issues plaguing the Yamuna River.
"During the festival of Chhath Puja, the residents of Purvanchal suffer health issues after celebrating along the banks of the Yamuna. How can Chhath devotees celebrate there? Kejriwal's shortcomings are becoming evident to everyone," he remarked.
The BJP leader also addressed a different controversy involving the Congress party.
He condemned the Congress for its negative campaign against Union Home Minister Amit Shah, asserting that instead of such antics, the Congress should apologize for its ongoing 'insults and humiliation' directed towards B. R. Ambedkar.
"Congress has a history of belittling Bhimrao Ambedkar. Even until the end, Congress has schemed to undermine his legacy," he added.
