Maha Kumbh 2025: Celebrated Actors and Artists to Showcase the Kumbh Tale

Prayagraj, Dec 4 (NationPress) In an effort to transform Maha Kumbh 2025 into a memorable occasion, the Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh is set to roll out a series of magnificent cultural festivities that harmoniously unite spirituality, tradition, and entertainment.

A plethora of Bollywood icons and performers are poised to enthrall the attendees with their acts, narrating tales from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and the sacred essence of the Kumbh.

As per the event organizers, actress and MP Hema Malini will showcase a captivating portrayal of ‘Ganga Avtaran’, while Ashutosh Rana will deliver a performance titled ‘Humare Ram’. Additionally, Puneet Issar will transport the audience back to ancient India with a compelling act centered on the epic Mahabharat.

These cultural festivities will be hosted at the Ganga Pandal, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Culture Department in partnership with the Ministry of Culture.

On February 8, Bhojpuri and Bollywood actor and Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan will present ‘Shiv Tandava’, while Puneet Issar will animate the epic ‘Mahabharat’ on February 21.

No Maha Kumbh would be complete without exploring the profound history and significance of the Kumbh. Special arrangements have been put in place for cultural evenings dedicated to this theme.

The cultural celebrations will kick off on January 22 with a Kathak dance drama by Kathak Kendra, Sangeet Natak Academy, focusing on the concept of Kumbh.

Beginning on January 10, an exciting array of performances will engage devotees throughout the Maha Kumbh 2025.

On January 11, Odisha's Prince Group will impress audiences with their ‘Dashavatar’ dance display.

The lineup includes acts by Mathura's Madhava Band and Agra's Crazy Hoppers on January 16, followed by Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej on January 17, and Kolkata's Golden Girls on January 19.

Manipur's Bastar Band will perform on January 21, and Delhi's Shrinkhala Dance Academy will showcase their skills on January 27.

The musical journey will carry on into February with the Indian Ocean Band on February 7, Agni Band on February 17, and Mumbai's Maati Bani Band on February 19.

Sufi Band Thaikkudam Bridge will take the stage on February 20, and the Kabira Band from Mumbai will wrap up the festivities with an enchanting performance on February 22.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 will present a distinctive cultural experience as Ramlilas from India and various countries take the spotlight at the Ganga Pandal.

On January 18 and February 14, Ramlilas featuring folk dances from diverse nations will be showcased through the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).

Moreover, Shriram Bharti Kala Kendra will perform their acclaimed Ramlila on February 15 and 16, while Shalini Khare from Madhya Pradesh will interpret the 'Ramayana' through Kathak on February 22.

The cultural celebrations also feature a Kavi Sammelan with esteemed poets from across India on January 20 and a rare heritage folk instrument exhibition by Rajesh Prasanna on January 21.

On January 24, guests can relish choreographed performances by 'UP Folk Night’ along with cultural acts representing various states.

On February 18, the legendary flutist Rakesh Chaurasia will enchant attendees with his soulful flute recital, adding a melodious dimension to the grand celebration.

These performances are set to enrich the spiritual and cultural fabric of Maha Kumbh 2025.
