During the meeting focused on the Maharashtra Vision Document 2047, CM Fadnavis mentioned that a strategic plan for the next twenty to twenty-five years is underway.
“Vision sets the path; hence, our aspirations and their trajectory must be clear. We must dedicate ourselves to converting this vision from mere words on a page to tangible outcomes. Our policies should reflect this vision. If we remain committed to this vision over the next five years, we will undoubtedly realize the dream of a Viksit Maharashtra by 2047. We are moving in the right direction,” he noted.
CM Fadnavis highlighted the significance of the cooperative sector for the state, urging for greater focus and the enhanced use of information technology for improved governance.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde added that this vision paints a clear picture of what Maharashtra should look like in two decades.

This vision holds the potential to meet the public's expectations, aiming to reach even the most marginalized sections of society,” he stated.
