New Delhi, April 20 (NationPress) The chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Mayawati, fiercely criticized the Samajwadi Party on Sunday, asserting that it lacks the commitment to eradicate the poverty and exploitation faced by Dalits.

She stated that, similar to the Congress and BJP, the SP has not contributed to the welfare and upliftment of the Bahujans, particularly the Dalits, in a post on X.

"The SP demonstrates no empathy or determination to eliminate their poverty, caste-based exploitation, injustice, and atrocities, which positions it far from the mainstream," she expressed in her post on X in Hindi (loosely translated).

Mayawati has been warning the Dalit community about the Samajwadi Party's alleged design to secure their votes.

She regularly utilizes social media to spotlight the SP's motivated actions for Dalits and other marginalized communities.

On Sunday, she shared a series of posts aimed at trying to "unmask" the SP's genuine intentions.

She reminded the public of the SP's previous governance, stating that many past actions are unforgivable. "The SP's betrayal of the BSP, the violent attacks on its leadership on June 2, the destruction of the bill for promotion quotas for SCs and STs in Parliament, and the renaming of new districts, parks, educational and medical institutions established in honor of their saints, gurus, and great personalities, exemplify such blatant casteist actions that cannot be overlooked."

Advising caution, Mayawati noted that the BSP has made significant progress in its mission to dismantle the caste system and foster brotherhood in an equitable society.

"The SP is pursuing its narrow political interests in every way. The public must exercise caution," she further stated on X in Hindi.

In her final post, the BSP leader emphasized that, like the Congress and BJP, the SP can never genuinely support Dalits-Bahujans due to its malicious intentions and policies, but will continue to "mislead" them for votes, while the BSP remains dedicated to making the 'Bahujan Samaj' the ruling class.

The BSP chief has accused the SP and its leader Akhilesh Yadav of exploiting Dalits under the pretext of its recent PDA (Pichhde, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) campaign for political advantage. She asserted that the SP, like other parties, is attempting to incite tension and violence by utilizing Dalits as political instruments.
