Patna, July 2 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted on Wednesday that the revival of Bihar's lost glory hinges solely on the leadership of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
During his address at the BJP's State Working Committee meeting at Gyan Bhavan in Patna, ahead of the upcoming state Assembly elections, he highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demonstrated that India can advance under robust leadership with clear intentions and policies focused on national interest.
Criticizing the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress for contributing to Bihar's backwardness, Defence Minister Singh urged BJP members to combat the 'misinformation' propagated by the opposition with verifiable facts.
He stated, 'The RJD and Congress will once again attempt to divide the populace along caste and religious lines. Their politics of division must be countered with the BJP's commitment to service.'
Rajnath Singh encouraged party workers to adopt the 'politics of service' as a means to confront the divisive tactics of the opposition.
Labeling the meeting a 'Sankalp Sabha' instead of a standard organizational event, he stressed that BJP workers are partaking in the 'sadhana of nation-building,' which has evolved into a transformative force for Bihar.
'I have observed BJP workers for 40 years. If you engage them with kindness, they will wholeheartedly support the party and the nation. You cannot motivate workers through fear; they will respond when treated with respect and affection,' he remarked.
The Defence Minister tasked BJP members with executing five essential duties as they prepare for elections.
He urged the workers to extend their endeavors beyond mere speeches by engaging the public about their experiences with government initiatives and to draw inspiration from Bihar's illustrious history, reminding them it is the land of the world's largest ancient republic and the birthplace of Lord Buddha and Mahavira.
Rajnath Singh further urged party members to focus on nation-building, rather than just the formation of a government.
He asserted that the BJP's agenda is focused on societal and national development, contrasting it with the Congress and RJD, which he characterized as parties driven solely by the pursuit of power.
Moreover, he called for increased awareness about the achievements of the Modi administration.
'Disseminate the record of 11 years of governance under Prime Minister Modi to every household, ensuring that the populace comprehends the developmental initiatives undertaken at the national level,' he stated.
The Defence Minister's address is designed to instill discipline and a sense of mission among BJP workers as the party seeks to broaden its organizational and electoral reach across Bihar's rural and urban areas.
