Eight ministries utilized this platform to illustrate the possibilities of digital integration in district-level decision-making. The National Quality Assurance Standards framework has accredited public health facilities via the SaQsham platform, impacting 29 States and Union Territories.
Under the POSHAN 2.0 initiative, the POSHAN Tracker keeps track of over 14 lakh Anganwadi Centres in near real-time, effectively transforming nutrition delivery into a quantifiable governance system. Additionally, the Jal Jeevan Mission has seen an expansion in rural tap water coverage, facilitated by geo-tagged assets and pipeline mapping through PM Gati Shakti, with a strong focus on District Collectors, VWSC-led management, and water quality assessments.
Moreover, digital governance in livestock management is enhanced through Pashu Aadhaar, which allows for real-time vaccination tracking and the creation of AI-ready datasets for disease surveillance.
The Digital Agriculture Mission is actively constructing interoperable digital public infrastructure through AgriStack and Bharat Vistaar, which incorporates farmer registries, geo-referenced maps, and multilingual advisories.
In the realm of banking and financial services, AI plays a crucial role in credit scoring, fraud detection, AML, KYC automation, and monitoring indicators of financial inclusion.
Conversations also highlighted the necessity for assessments in borewell-dependent regions, API integration, enhanced POSHAN validation, and AR-based training for frontline workers.
Demonstrations of Frontier Technology featured applications from India's AI sovereign stack, presented by Abhishek Singh from MeitY, and the NITI Frontier Tech Repository showcased by Sachi Chopra. AI-driven soil diagnostics were also highlighted, along with Sindhudurg being recognized as India's first fully AI-enabled district under a state-owned SPV model and PadhaiWithAI in Tonk district, aimed at improving Class 10 Mathematics results.
Under the Frontier 50 initiative, AI-driven Digital Intelligence and telecommunications infrastructure are being integrated through a phygital model, utilizing Samriddhi Kendras as assisted digital access points. This event also provided an opportunity for Districts to showcase their technology-driven solutions for addressing thematic challenges in their respective areas.
NITI Aayog underscored the importance of micro-localization, interoperable district data stacks, measurable outcomes, and accountable leadership.
The opening session highlighted that India's development occurs on a district-by-district basis. Technology was emphasized as a key enabler of Viksit Bharat, shifting governance from mere service digitization towards adaptive intelligence and institutional transformation.
Speakers stressed that Frontier Technology has the potential to unlock a national tech dividend, boost economic growth and social progress, and fortify strategic autonomy.
