Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Patna, Dec 23 (NationPress) Nitin Nabin, the National Working President of BJP, criticized Congress's Rahul Gandhi and RJD's Tejashwi Yadav on Tuesday, labeling them as part-time politicians.
During a significant gathering at the Miller High School Ground in Patna for his felicitation, Nabin called on BJP members to refrain from part-time politics and affirmed that BJP representatives are committed full-time.
“Our party members engage in full-time politics. We should not emulate Rahul Gandhi’s part-time approach,” Nabin stated.
He directly criticized Gandhi for showing disrespect towards national institutions and the nation.
“When Rahul Gandhi is within our borders, he disrespects the Constitution and the Election Commission. When he is abroad, he criticizes our country. Such behavior deserves punishment,” Nabin expressed.
While not naming Tejashwi Yadav, Nabin indicated a lack of seriousness about legislative duties.
“There exists a leader in Bihar who also engages in part-time politics. He abandons his duties when the Assembly is in session,” Nabin added.
Describing the current era as a “time of change,” Nabin motivated BJP supporters in Bihar to dedicate themselves to the growth of both Bihar and the nation.
He stressed the importance of party members actively disseminating government initiatives to the grassroots level.
“There are no shortcuts in politics. Continuous effort with a long-term vision is essential,” he emphasized.
Nitin Nabin remarked that Patna and Bihar hold a cherished place in his heart, no matter where he is stationed.
“No matter where I go, Patna and its people remain in my heart. I will always remember the affection from Bankipur and the respect from my party colleagues,” he shared.
This visit marked Nabin's first trip to Patna since taking on the role of National Working President of the BJP.
He received an overwhelming welcome, and the Bihar BJP organized a significant felicitation event in his honor at the Miller School Ground.
While addressing the attendees, Nabin expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their unwavering support for Bihar.
Highlighting the BJP's organizational ethos, Nabin mentioned that the party empowers grassroots workers.
“This is the essence of the BJP: even a booth-level worker, when given a national responsibility, works with the same dedication as the national leaders,” he remarked.
Discussing recent local body elections, Nabin pointed out that the BJP continues to achieve success wherever elections occur.
“The winning momentum that started in Bihar will soon spread to West Bengal and Kerala. The saffron flag will be raised everywhere,” he asserted.
He concluded by urging BJP members to intensify their efforts to honor the trust bestowed upon them by the people of Bihar.
“To honor that trust, we must work even harder and ensure government initiatives reach every individual,” Nabin said.
