Bhubaneswar, March 7 (NationPress) – On Saturday, the Odisha Vigilance executed coordinated searches at seven properties associated with Pramod Ray, the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of the Derabish Irrigation Sub-Division within the Kendrapara Irrigation Division, as confirmed by officials.

This operation was initiated following accusations that Ray owned assets that were disproportionate to his legitimate income sources.

The search operations were conducted under warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, in Cuttack, as part of an inquiry into suspected illicit wealth accumulation.

A substantial team from the Odisha Vigilance has been mobilized for this initiative. This team comprises two Additional Superintendents of Police (Addl. SPs), nine Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), nine Inspectors, four Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), and additional support staff.
