Rajasthan CM Honors ASI Who Lost His Life in Tragic Accident

Jaipur, Dec 21 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma paid a heartfelt visit to Majra Kath, the hometown of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Surendra Singh Ola from Neemrana, who was fatally injured in an accident. During his visit, Sharma laid floral tributes before a photograph of the late ASI, commemorating his service.
The Chief Minister extended his condolences to the grieving family of Surendra Singh and assured them of comprehensive support in their dire time.
Joining Sharma were several dignitaries, including Minister of State for Forest and Environment (Independent Charge) Sanjay Sharma, MLA Jaswant Singh Yadav, and other public representatives such as Baba Balaknath, Devi Singh Shekhawat, and Kuldeep Dhankar.
ASI Surendra Singh Ola tragically passed away due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident at Akshaya Patra Chauraha, Jagatpura, Jaipur, on December 11. His life was lost while receiving medical treatment.
On the day of the incident, an ASI was killed and six others were injured when an escort vehicle from Chief Minister Sharma's convoy collided with another vehicle in the Jagatpura region.
This unfortunate event took place as Sharma was heading to a Laghu Udyog Bharti function, where Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was scheduled to be the chief guest. The accident involved five police personnel and two civilians who were injured in the collision between the escort vehicle and a taxi.
Expressing his sorrow on X, the CM stated, "The death of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shri Surendra ji and the injuries to other citizens in this tragic vehicle accident in Jaipur today is profoundly upsetting."
He further added, "In this time of great sorrow, our compassionate government is with the family of the deceased and the injured. After this incident, relevant officials have been instructed to ensure the injured receive adequate medical care."
