The Chief Minister praised the dedication, discipline, and public service spirit of the Rajasthan Police, stating they are always prepared to protect the public.
“Our administration adheres to a zero-tolerance policy regarding corruption, aiming to create a crime-free Rajasthan,” he asserted.
Reflecting on the police force's 77-year history, he pointed out its exemplary standards of bravery, duty, and sacrifice. He also honored the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Sharma noted that the relationship between the police and society is complementary, and effective policing has bolstered public trust and safety.
He pointed out that Rajasthan’s improved law and order situation has elevated its image as a peaceful state, thereby attracting both investors and tourists, which positively impacts the economy. He highlighted that challenges like cybercrime, drug abuse, and organized crime can be effectively tackled through community policing, and that active public involvement is crucial, as vigilant citizens serve as the strongest defense.
Reiterating the government's commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against crime and corruption, he provided statistics indicating a significant 18.77% reduction in crime over the last two years. He shared that incidents of murder have fallen by 25.68%, dacoity by 47.26%, robbery by 50.75%, and crimes against women by nearly 10%.
In response to rising drug abuse, an Anti-Narcotics Task Force has been established, alongside one police station and 17 outposts. An SIT has also been formed to tackle exam-related fraud, thereby ensuring no paper leaks and restoring confidence among the youth.
Moreover, the Anti-Gangster Task Force has effectively reduced organized crime, leading to a decrease in firearm-related incidents and fatalities. Cyber Help Desks have been introduced at police stations to combat cybercrime and raise awareness.
Addressing welfare and infrastructure initiatives, Sharma mentioned that over 8,000 constables have received appointment letters to bolster the police force. Several administrative expansions have been carried out, including the establishment of two Additional SP offices, two Deputy SP offices, and 23 new police stations. Additional efforts include upgrading eight outposts to police stations, deploying 1,000 mobile police units, setting up 35 new outposts, and increasing uniform and mess allowances for personnel from Constable to Assistant Sub-Inspector levels.

With modern resources and robust leadership, the force is dedicated to upholding constitutional values and ensuring public safety.
