The authorities retrieved the old sword from Saif's home, and it remains uncertain whether it belongs to his ancestral heritage. As a descendant of Nawabs, Saif possesses numerous antique treasures, including the renowned Pataudi Palace in Haryana.
Reports indicate that Saif was attacked with a 2.5-inch knife by an assailant who entered his home through his youngest son Jeh's room.
According to media accounts, doctors successfully extracted the 2.5-inch blade from his injury. After undergoing surgery, the actor has been moved to the ICU and is reported to be stable.
During the early hours of Thursday, Saif was stabbed multiple times while attempting to fend off a burglar.
