Patna, May 29 (NationPress) The escalating dispute surrounding former minister Tej Pratap Yadav and his 12-year association with Anushka Yadav has now taken a significant political twist. Akash Yadav, Anushka's sibling and the National President of the Student Wing of the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP), has been expelled from the party for a duration of 6 years.
A formal letter confirming this action was released by the RLJP on Thursday. The letter stated: “In light of recent political events, Akash Gaurav (Yadav) is removed from his position as National President (Student Cell) within the party effective immediately for 6 years, following instructions from National President Pashupati Kumar Paras.
The controversy ignited on May 24 when a post from Tej Pratap Yadav’s official social media account claimed he had been in a relationship with Anushka Yadav for 12 years. However, Tej Pratap later alleged that his account had been hacked.
Despite this clarification, the post ignited a political and familial upheaval. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav took the drastic measure of expelling Tej Pratap from both the party and the family for six years.
This decision prompted a wave of reactions, particularly from Anushka's brother, Akash Yadav.
In response to the viral post, Akash publicly supported Tej Pratap Yadav, criticizing Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav for their actions. He remarked: “What is happening with my sister and Tej Pratap is unjust. The Lalu family should be cautious with their words. We have nothing to lose, but Lalu and Tejashwi do.”
He further cautioned that if the conflict persists, it could escalate further, urging the Lalu family to cease the 'fight.'
Sources close to the situation indicate that Akash’s outspoken support for Tej Pratap and his public rebuke of the Lalu family influenced Pashupati Kumar Paras’ decision to expel him.
The relationship between Tej Pratap and Anushka Yadav, once a private matter, has now transformed into a public and political saga, affecting careers and alliances.
