Patna, Nov 24 (NationPress) The political landscape in Bihar has become more contentious following a dispute over a song performed by artists during Tejashwi Yadav’s election campaign.
Members of the ruling NDA have launched pointed criticisms at the RJD leader, accusing him of deflecting responsibility for his electoral setbacks.
The state’s Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav vehemently condemned Tejashwi Yadav, questioning his comments directed at the performers.
“What kind of low-mindedness is this? To blame artists for your defeat reflects the true mentality of the RJD and the Grand Alliance,” he stated.
The minister contended that after failing to earn the public's trust, the RJD is resorting to unfounded accusations out of frustration.
Baikunthpur BJP MLA Mithilesh Tiwari also issued a strong rebuke, defending the artists and targeting Tejashwi Yadav.
“The artists simply performed what they were instructed. What is their fault?” he remarked. “The people of Bihar have entirely rejected Tejashwi Yadav’s new persona,” he added.
Escalating his criticism, Tiwari advised, “My suggestion to Tejashwi Yadav is to first enroll in high school, pass matriculation properly, and then read the biography of Ram Kripal Yadav. Today, Ram Kripal Yadav epitomizes good governance, while Tejashwi Yadav represents poor governance.”
Tiwari continued to criticize, asserting that the RJD is in a state of internal disarray.
“From sisters leaving home in tears to brothers abandoning the party, and now even artists are being blamed. From district presidents to grassroots workers, everyone is deserting the RJD,” he noted.
He emphasized that merely being the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav does not guarantee political power, asserting that public trust and integrity are essential qualities the party lacks.
What began as a dispute over a campaign song has now evolved into a major political clash.
While the RJD alleges that the controversy is a political conspiracy, NDA leaders depict it as indicative of Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership shortcomings.
