During a public address, the Chief Minister officially introduced Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, Indiramma housing, and new ration cards.
Expressing his joy at launching these initiatives on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, the Chief Minister distributed cheques totaling Rs 11.80 crore among 734 beneficiaries of the Rythu Bharosa and Indiramma Indlu schemes.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is systematically fulfilling its promises.
"The people's government is diligently working for the welfare of four crore citizens of Telangana by engaging with them and addressing their issues," he stated.
Under Rythu Bharosa, farmers will receive financial aid of Rs. 12,000 per acre of cultivable land. The Indiramma Aathmeeya Bharosa scheme provides Rs. 12,000 annually to families of landless agricultural workers.
To promote food security, the government is distributing new ration cards. The Indiramma Indlu housing initiative will grant Rs 5 lakh to eligible families to build homes.
The administration aims to construct 450,000 houses in the fiscal year 2024-2025 with an allocation of Rs 22,500 crore.
The Chief Minister noted that bonuses for farmers growing premium paddy varieties have already been implemented. Additionally, women can travel free on RTC buses, and free power supply is provided up to 200 units, along with cooking gas cylinders priced at Rs 500.
He acknowledged that many poor individuals had been awaiting ration cards, while the Indiramma housing scheme is being revived after a decade.
The Chief Minister affirmed that the Congress government is committed to assisting landless agricultural laborers.
He remarked that the connection between the Congress party and farmers is akin to the relationship between land and seed.
He highlighted that it was the Congress party that initiated free electricity for farmers and enacted crop loan waivers nationally.
Revanth Reddy pointed out that his administration has already fulfilled the commitment to waive farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh.
An amount of Rs 21,000 crore has been credited into the accounts of 25 lakh farmers.
No other state has achieved such extensive farm loan waivers. He mentioned that due to rising agricultural input costs, the government has increased the crop investment support for farmers.
The funds allocated under Rythu Bharosa will be deposited in farmers' accounts starting from midnight.
