Jaipur, Nov 4 (NationPress) A devastating incident unfolded on Tuesday in Hardhani village near Bavdi, Jodhpur, as two gas cylinders detonated sequentially during the preparations for a wedding event, resulting in injuries to 11 individuals, with two in critical condition.
According to ASI Dharmendra, the officer overseeing the Bavdi outpost, the explosions occurred at a residence where wedding arrangements were in progress.
“The cylinders erupted while the setup was ongoing. The injured individuals were immediately transported to medical facilities in Jodhpur,” he stated.
The injured have been admitted to various hospitals, with nine at Mathuradas Mathur Hospital (MDM) and two at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital (MGH). Additionally, three others are receiving care at a private hospital in Bavdi.
