Ranchi, June 18 (NationPress) At least five individuals lost their lives and 15 others were injured in various road mishaps across Jharkhand on Wednesday, coinciding with the persistent monsoon rains, officials reported.
In Dhanbad district, two young men tragically perished when their motorcycle collided with a truck near the Kamalpur forest area under the Tundi police jurisdiction around noon.
Preliminary reports suggest that the motorcycle skidded on the rain-slicked road, leading to the rider losing control and subsequently being struck by an oncoming truck.
