Washington, March 28 (NationPress) President Donald Trump of the United States declared that Iran is currently "being decimated" and confirmed that negotiations are in progress. This statement followed his comments during both a White House event and a speech delivered in Miami.

"Regarding Iran, they are indeed being decimated. Discussions are happening on both sides. They are eager to strike a deal. Our military is, without a doubt, the most formidable in the world. Iran is undergoing significant losses," Trump conveyed to reporters upon his arrival aboard Air Force One.

The President suggested that the military pressure from the US has compelled Iran to consider negotiations, although he did not provide specifics about the discussions' structure or timeline. "They want to reach an agreement," he noted.

In a distinct address at the Future Investment Initiative Priority Summit in Miami, Trump shared his viewpoint on Iran's condition, asserting it has been greatly weakened by US military actions.

"We are dismantling Iran's weapon stockpiles, eliminating their missile and drone production facilities at unprecedented levels, and effectively neutralizing their defense industrial base," he stated.

He remarked that Iran's military capabilities have faced severe deterioration.

"Iran's navy is no longer operational; it's sunk at the bottom of the Gulf... Their air force is completely incapacitated... Their anti-aircraft and communication systems are utterly dismantled," Trump continued.

Additionally, Trump asserted that US operations have resulted in the elimination of key Iranian leaders.

"Their leadership is gone... The supreme leader is no longer in command; he is deceased," he claimed.

Describing the military campaign as a definitive success, Trump asserted that the US has met its military objectives ahead of the projected timeline.

"We are accomplishing all the military goals I set forth less than four weeks ago... we are two weeks ahead of schedule," he remarked.

He further emphasized that Iran has been driven to the negotiating table under pressure.

"They are in negotiations. They are pleading to finalize a deal," Trump stated in his Miami speech.

Trump connected the military efforts to wider strategic aims, which include preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and altering regional security dynamics.

"As the President of the United States, I will never permit the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism to obtain a nuclear weapon," he declared.
