Lucknow, April 13 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Opposition parties on Sunday for opposing the modifications to the Waqf law and accused them of misleading the public with false assertions. He voiced serious concern regarding the Murshidabad violence and mentioned that the violence was being provoked under the guise of the Waqf law.

“In Murshidabad, three Hindus were viciously slain; they were forcibly pulled from their homes,” stated CM Yogi while condemning the Mamata administration for the deterioration of law and order.

The UP CM further criticized the Opposition parties, including the Congress and Samajwadi Party, for their silence on the violence during a significant speech at the Baba Saheb Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Samman Abhiyaan workshop in the city.

“These parties that advocate for social justice are the very ones that, in reality, strip Dalits of their fundamental rights,” he remarked.

“Who are the victims of this violence? They are the same Dalit, marginalized, and impoverished Hindus. Who stands to gain the most from this land? They worry that if Dalits, marginalized, and poor individuals acquire high-rise buildings, their vote bank will vanish, and the politics of deception will be extinguished forever. Thus, they are inciting violence.”

CM Yogi also mentioned, "Three years ago, Rajya Sabha MP and former DGP of Uttar Pradesh Brijlal authored a book. This book was based on a comparative analysis of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and two prominent Dalit warriors during the time of Independence. On one side was Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, who declared that he would begin and conclude as an Indian, while on the opposite side was Jogendra Nath Mandal, who supported Pakistan but could not remain there for even a year. Bangladeshi Hindus continue to bear the consequences of Yogendra Nath Mandal's actions.”

The Chief Minister emphasized the need to safeguard every follower of Sanatan Dharma and stated, “All the oppressed and suffering Hindus residing in Bangladesh are Dalits. No political party, including the Congress, SP, or Mamata Banerjee's party, raised their voices for these (Bangladeshi Hindus). Only the BJP spoke out. We must protect every Hindu.
