Mumbai, April 21 (NationPress) Actress Vaani Kapoor shared insights about her on-screen chemistry with 'Abir Gulaal' co-star Fawad Khan.

During a live Instagram session, Vaani and Fawad engaged with fans, answering questions.

When a follower inquired about her experience working alongside Fawad, Vaani expressed, "I feel fortunate to be part of this film with such a remarkable co-star. Our on-screen chemistry felt incredibly natural because I was completely immersed in my character, Gulaal. My energy and vibe align closely with Fawad's, making it effortless and enjoyable for me."

Praising the Pakistani actor, she noted, "He is an exceptional listener, always patient with my chatter – he really knows how to listen!"

'Abir Gulaal' will be the debut on-screen collaboration between Vaani and Fawad.

Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, the film is produced by Vivek B Agrawal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy.

The film is slated for release in theaters on May 9.

Renowned composer Amit Trivedi has crafted the enchanting soundtrack for this highly anticipated drama.

Reflecting on his career, Fawad made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Sonam Kapoor in "Khoobsurat".

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film was a modern take on the classic 1980 movie of the same name. In addition to Fawad and Sonam, it featured Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Aamir Raza Hussain in pivotal roles.

In 2016, Fawad appeared in another Bollywood film, "Kapoor & Sons", alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.

This was followed by Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", which starred Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

Regrettably, "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil" was his last Bollywood appearance, as a ban on Pakistani artists in India was imposed following the Uri attack, which was reinforced in 2019 by the All-Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA).

Now, Fawad is poised to make his comeback in Bollywood with "Abir Gulaal".

On a different note, Vaani will be seen next in Ajay Devgn's upcoming film "Raid 2".
