Women Celebrate PM Modi's 'Bima Sakhi Yojana' as a Milestone for Economic Empowerment

Panipat, Dec 9 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the LIC 'Bima Sakhi Yojana' in Haryana's Panipat. The primary goal of this initiative is to empower women by fostering their self-reliance.
As part of this program, women will receive training to become LIC agents, earning a monthly salary ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000, in addition to commissions from policy sales.
Attendees expressed their joy regarding the scheme's launch, viewing it as a symbol of self-sufficiency for women.
One participant shared with IANS, "PM Modi first protected daughters, then ensured their education, and now he is enabling them to uplift their families. Under this initiative, daughters will earn Rs 7,000 in the first year, Rs 6,000 in the second year, and Rs 5,000 in the third year. Subsequently, the premiums will continue. A daughter in our nation will be able to earn between Rs 25,000-30,000 monthly, enabling her to stand strong against any oppression."
Local resident Rekha Setia commented, "PM Modi initiated the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' campaign right here nine years ago, which achieved remarkable success. Today, on December 9, he launched the Bima Sakhi Yojana from Panipat. This initiative is set to help women become self-sufficient and manage their households effectively."
Another local woman expressed, "We are thrilled about the launch of the Bima Sakhi Yojana. PM Modi often kicks off significant schemes from Haryana, and we take pride that this one was launched here too. All of us women are here in full support. His efforts are commendable."
Another attendee stated, "I am incredibly pleased with this initiative. It will foster self-reliance among women. Women actively participated in the Prime Minister's program, which made them feel empowered. Those who remain at home will also find ways to become self-sufficient."
Yet another participant noted, "This scheme will empower women by offering them the opportunity to earn their own income. Millions of women nationwide will have the chance to become LIC agents under the Bima Sakhi program. The government is committed to providing Rs 7,000 per month during the first year.
Furthermore, they will earn commissions based on the insurance policies they sell. In the second year, they will receive Rs 6,000 per month, followed by Rs 5,000 in the third year. This initiative is a fantastic step towards making women self-reliant and enabling them to stand independently.
