“Through our industry-leading applications like Firefly, Photoshop, and Acrobat, Adobe is preparing the next generation for AI-centric careers by providing these tools for free to students through accredited higher education institutions across India,” the company announced.
This toolkit grants access to Adobe’s creativity and productivity software, along with a comprehensive curriculum, training, and credentials to help students distinguish themselves upon graduation.
As students acquire AI skills, they will benefit from Adobe's innovative approach to generative AI, including safe, commercially viable AI-generated content and flexibility in using various generative AI models directly within the applications.
Adobe Firefly, the comprehensive creative AI studio, consolidates the best creative AI models from top partners like Google, OpenAI, and Runway, allowing students the freedom to generate content in their unique style.
With Acrobat Pro, students can enhance their productivity and collaboration capabilities, effortlessly editing text and images to achieve their best work.
This announcement by Adobe strengthens the government’s Create in India initiative and complements the Union Budget 2026, which aims to generate two million jobs in the fields of Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) by 2030.
In collaboration with the government, Adobe will offer its AI-first initiative, along with an industry-recognized curriculum, at no cost to the 15,000 schools and 500 colleges that will feature Content Creator Labs.
