Chandigarh, Jan 27 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Tuesday that all input from the public and lawmakers will be thoughtfully evaluated to craft a Budget that instills trust and hope in every resident of Haryana.
He highlighted the significant role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the 2026-27 budget.
“The AI-driven app, which was launched on January 6 for pre-budget discussions, has gathered over 9,000 suggestions thus far. We will integrate valuable recommendations into the budget, similar to last year’s process,” he said.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a pre-budget consultation gathering attended by ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), and legislative assembly members in Panchkula, located nearby.
During the session, detailed suggestions regarding the budget were presented by Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha MPs, as well as MLAs and ministers.
He mentioned that any citizen can submit their suggestions via the portal until January 31, and these will be acknowledged.
These pre-budget consultations commenced on January 6 in Gurugram and have now reached their final phase.
“A total of 12 meetings have taken place, engaging approximately 1,597 stakeholders and collecting 1,513 suggestions. Participants included representatives from various sectors such as industry, education, women's groups, health, agriculture, local governance, youth, and other organizations,” he explained.
The Chief Minister asserted that this upcoming budget is not merely a government budget but represents the voices of 2.80 crore residents of Haryana.
“It will not just be a collection of numbers but a document of aspirations, acting as a robust connection between current needs and future dreams,” he added.
He expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with the cooperation of public representatives and the trust of the populace, the ambition of Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana 2047 will undoubtedly be achieved.
