Mumbai, Aug 13 (NationPress) Abhijeet Sawant, the celebrated winner of Indian Idol Season 1, has made his debut by crooning the title track for a TV serial, describing the experience as “extraordinary”.
“The first experience is always memorable,” Abhijeet expressed.
He elaborated on the significance of this song, stating, “Being given the chance to perform a title track for a channel like Zee Marathi is monumental for me. As this is my very first TV serial title track, it truly adds to its uniqueness.”
Marking two decades in the music industry, he feels this opportunity is a true honor.
“Just days after the song's release, witnessing the audience's affection is absolutely delightful,” he remarked.

Celebrating 20 years in the music scene, he has also recently launched a new track titled “Paisa Themba Themba Gala.”
This new number includes a ‘tadka’ inspired by the iconic Dada Kondke’s hit “Dhagala Lagali Kala.”
“The song features a delightful blend of the classic Dada Kondke hit, making it a wonderful surprise for my fans,” Abhijeet commented.
This track pays homage to the legendary Dada Kondke's superhit “Dhagala Lagali Kala Pani Themba Themba Gala,” but with a modern twist.
After gaining fame from “Indian Idol” Season 1, his debut album Aapka Abhijeet Sawant was launched in 2005, followed by his playback singing in the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne, where he performed “Mar Jaawan Mit Jaawan.”
His second album, Junoon, was released in 2007, and in 2013, he unveiled his third studio album titled Farida.
