“It’s among my all-time favorite Marathi songs, something that has been part of my life since childhood. Prasad and Ganesh have truly excelled in their work. We’ve retained the core of the original while integrating a modern twist, making it ideal for today’s listeners,” he added.

Abhijeet is also commemorating 20 years in the music industry, with this release symbolizing a significant achievement as he celebrates two decades in the Indian music scene.

“This year marks 20 years since I triumphed in Indian Idol and embarked on this remarkable journey in the music realm. It has been a whirlwind of emotions, growth, and immense gratitude.”

He further mentioned: “As a proud Maharashtrian, I have always desired to contribute to the Marathi music landscape. My breakthrough in Marathi music came in 2013 with Sar Sukhachi Shravani — a song that resonated widely and opened numerous opportunities for me in the Marathi industry.”

The singer expressed his feelings of being “excited yet somewhat anxious” about the upcoming release.

“Especially following the affection I received from the Marathi Bigg Boss audience. This release is particularly meaningful — it will indicate whether fans are ready to embrace me as a Marathi artist as well. That holds significant value for me,” he remarked.
