Actor-Producer Rahul Mittra Highlights the Profound Cultural and Historical Ties Between India and Israel

Mumbai, Dec 5 (NationPress) Actor-producer Rahul Mittra, celebrated for his roles in 'Amar Singh Chamkila', 'Torbaaz', and the 'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster' series, has addressed the significant cultural and historical parallels between India and Israel.

Rahul Mittra is at the forefront of the Indian film delegation visiting Israel, aimed at strengthening the cultural partnership between Israel and India. The delegation from India made its arrival in Tel Aviv on Sunday, as part of an initiative organized by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Rahul remarked, “Israel and India share profound cultural and historical ties, and Israeli content is greatly appreciated in India and around the globe. Cinema possesses immense potential to engage audiences, and with the Indian film industry on the verge of captivating international audiences, we are persistently exploring new locations and innovative stories.”

“I’m excited to be in Israel and am eager to discover synergies and partnerships in film co-production and other domains related to branding and the arts,” he continued.

The Indian delegation features Rahul Mittra, CEO of the Producers Guild of India, Nitin Tej Ahuja, and prominent leaders from VFX and film exhibition sectors, among others. The Indian representatives are engaging with Israeli filmmakers, actors, local media, AI specialists, and government officials throughout their six-day trip, while also visiting filming sites in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.

Notable Israeli filmmakers such as Alon Gur Arye & Elad Peleg, Shai Shimshon, the owner of Movieland Cinema Chain and popular Bollywood TV Channels, acclaimed actor and star of the widely viewed Netflix series 'Fauda', Tsahi Halevi, along with Indian diplomats Garcia Tejeswar and Sayali, the head of the Indian Cultural Center in Israel, Micha Ronen, former head of the India Bureau, and Haifa Mayor Yonah Yahav are among the distinguished individuals engaging with the visiting Indian delegates to discuss financial incentives for Indian productions in Israel, while also exploring additional collaborative opportunities.
