Bengaluru, Dec 14 (NationPress) Superstar Allu Arjun, whose 'Puspa 2' has become an all-India sensation, welcomed Kannada star Upendra at his residence in Hyderabad mere hours after his prison release, as confirmed by sources on Saturday. The 'UI' team was in Hyderabad for promotional efforts.

The team reached out to Allu Arjun, who greeted them with warmth and affection, displaying no signs of resentment following the dramatic events of Friday evening. Allu Arjun had been arrested due to allegations of criminal negligence related to a stampede that occurred during his visit to a theatre to celebrate with his fans after the much-anticipated release of 'Puspa 2'. Upendra, a renowned Kannada actor and director, along with 'UI' producer Lahari Velu, visited Allu Arjun at his home.

Sources revealed that Allu Arjun embraced Upendra warmly and made him feel at home. Upendra had previously starred alongside Allu Arjun in the hit Telugu film 'Son of Satyamurthy'. It was also reported that Allu promised Upendra his support for 'UI', which is set for an international release on December 20.

Prior to this meeting, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan had expressed his admiration after watching the trailer of 'UI'. In a video, Aamir shared, "Hello everyone, I am with someone whom I am a big fan of."

He commented, "The trailer of 'UI' is just mind-blowing. I was absolutely blown away. This film is going to be a massive success, and I believe the Hindi audience will love it as well," praising the trailer's quality. 'UI' is an upcoming Indian Kannada dystopian science fiction action film, both written and directed by Upendra, who also stars as the protagonist, with Reeshma Nanaiah taking on the female lead role.
