Chiranjeevi and Nagababu Visit Allu Arjun's Family Following His Arrest

Hyderabad, Dec 13 (NationPress) In a show of support, megastar Chiranjeevi and his brother Nagababu visited the residence of actor Allu Arjun on Friday, just hours after his arrest related to a stampede incident at a local theatre that tragically led to the death of a woman and left her son injured.

Chiranjeevi, who is Allu Arjun's uncle, met with family members to convey his support during this difficult time.

Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Arvind, is Chiranjeevi's brother-in-law. The megastar was reportedly en route to the Chikkadpally Police Station, where Allu Arjun was taken following his arrest.

However, police authorities advised him against visiting the police station to prevent a large crowd from gathering.

Numerous film industry figures also showed their support by visiting Allu Arjun’s home, the police station, Gandhi Hospital, and Nampally Court.

Film producer Dil Raju, recently appointed as the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, was among those who visited the police station.

Earlier, Allu Arvind and his younger son, actor Allu Sirish, had arrived at the police station as well.

After taking Allu Arjun's statement, the police transported him to Gandhi Hospital for a medical examination, and he was later taken to Nampally Criminal Court where he was presented before a magistrate.

Producers of ‘Pushpa’, Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, also made an appearance at Nampally Court. Other film producers, Bunny Vasu and Naga Vasmi, were also present at the court premises.

Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a case arising from a stampede at Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on the evening of December 4.

This unfortunate incident resulted in the death of a woman and serious injuries to her son during the premiere attended by Allu Arjun.

Law enforcement has filed charges under sections 105 (Culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 118(1) (Voluntarily causing hurt) in conjunction with 3(5) BNS against Allu Arjun, his security personnel, and the theatre's management.

The case was initiated at Chikkadpally Police Station on December 5 following a complaint filed by the husband of the deceased. On December 8, police arrested the theatre's owner, general manager, and security manager.
