Tollywood Leaders Scheduled to Meet CM Revanth Reddy Tomorrow

Hyderabad, Dec 25 (NationPress) In an effort to mend the strained relationship with the Telangana government following the incident of a stampede at a theatre during the premiere of Allu Arjun's ‘Pushpa 2’, representatives from the Telugu film industry are scheduled to meet Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who is the uncle of Allu Arjun, along with Venkatesh and Allu Arjun's father and producer Allu Arvind are anticipated to be part of the delegation.

Dil Raju, chairman of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation and a renowned producer, confirmed that they will meet the Chief Minister at 10 a.m. on Thursday.

He mentioned that they had requested an appointment with the Chief Minister, which was confirmed on Wednesday.

He made these remarks to the media while visiting a child injured in the stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4.

He clarified that this meeting with the Chief Minister is organized on behalf of the Film Development Corporation.

Dil Raju indicated that actors, directors, and producers would be part of the delegation. “We have communicated to all. Those who are available in the city will attend the meeting,” he stated.

“All will come,” he affirmed when questioned if Allu Arjun's father and producer Allu Arvind would join the delegation.

Dil Raju expressed his intent to serve as a bridge between the film industry and the government. “The meeting will discuss issues related to the film industry,” he added.

When asked whether they would address the stampede incident and the government's decision against benefit shows and increased cinema ticket prices for new releases, he mentioned that clarity would come after the meeting.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister for Roads & Buildings and Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will also be in attendance.

Dil Raju, who visited the hospital on Tuesday, expressed relief over the quick recovery of Sri Tej.

He stated that Allu Arjun, Mythri Movies, and director Sukumar have contributed Rs 2 crore for the family of Revati, who tragically lost her life in the stampede. Her son Sri Tej was critically injured.

Dil Raju assured that he would ensure the funds are used to secure the future of Sri Tej, his sister, and their father.
