Allu Arjun's Confrontation with Police: Actor Claims They Infringed on His Privacy

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, currently basking in the acclaim of his new release ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, experienced an unexpected encounter with the police. The actor, who was reportedly taken in for questioning, shared a heartfelt kiss with his wife Sneha Reddy prior to leaving with the officers.
Allu expressed his frustrations regarding the police's decision to enter his bedroom, stating that it was inappropriate for them to invade his personal space.
The actor's involvement stems from the tragic death of a fan during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theatre. He is now the fourth individual to be arrested in connection with the incident.
Footage shared on X, previously known as Twitter, showed Arjun in a ‘Pushpa 2’ sweatshirt while enjoying his coffee. His wife, Allu Sneha Reddy, brother Allu Sirish, and father Allu Aravind were also present by his side. The police waited patiently for him to finish his drink before taking him into custody.
Producer Bunny Vas, who was at the scene, attempted to mediate via phone. When the police claimed they had complied with his requests, Arjun responded, “Sir, you haven’t honoured anything. I asked to change my clothes and requested that one person accompany me. While it's not wrong for you to take me in, invading my bedroom is excessive and inappropriate.”
Despite the blockbuster success of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, the film has also made headlines for unfortunate reasons. On December 4, during the premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, a crowd surge led to a tragic stampede, resulting in the death of a fan named Revathi and her young son suffering from critical injuries. The theatre owner and two staff members were arrested following a complaint from her family.
