Mumbai, Feb 27 (NationPress) - The renowned Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh’s team offered a nostalgic look back at his childhood, showcasing how his signature style and charisma were apparent from a young age.

On their Instagram account, they posted a collection of images highlighting the cherished memories of the “Lover” sensation. The background music featured the track “No Stylist” by French Montana.

“From Day 1, NO STYLIST,” was the caption accompanying the post.

Recently, Diljit appeared in Border 2 and shared these photos on his Instagram stories, adding a starry-eyed emoji.

Border 2 is a film inspired by the events of the 1971 war. It is produced by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in collaboration with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. The film boasts an impressive production team, including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, and is directed by Anurag Singh.

Previously, J.P. Dutta's hit film, Border, was released in 1997, featuring stars like Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, along with Tabu, Pooja Bhatt, Rakhee Gulzar, Sharbani Mukherjee, Sapna Bedi, and Rajiv Goswami.

Looking ahead, Diljit will star in Panjab ‘95, which is directed and co-written by Honey Trehan. This film narrates the story of activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, who unearthed proof of the abduction, murder, and cremation of over 25,000 Sikhs by police during the period of insurgency in Punjab from 1984 to 1995.

Diljit has made his mark on various music charts, including the Canadian Albums Chart, the UK Asian chart by the Official Charts Company, and the New Zealand Hot Singles. His films, such as Jatt & Juliet 2, Sajjan Singh Rangroot, Honsla Rakh, and Jatt & Juliet 3, rank among the top-grossing Punjabi films.

His career began in 2002, gaining fame in Punjabi music with albums like Smile and Chocolate, followed by the successful collaboration The Next Level with Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Diljit had a brief role in the Punjabi film Mel Karade Rabba in 2010 before pursuing acting, making his debut as a leading actor in the Punjabi film The Lion of Punjab in 2011.

He ventured into Bollywood in 2016 with the crime thriller Udta Punjab, followed by Good Newwz. In 2024, he announced the Dil-Luminati Global tour, which will take him across Europe, visiting cities like Paris, England, Ireland, Italy, and the Netherlands, along with various cities in India such as Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.
