Mumbai, April 2 (NationPress) Bengali film and Bollywood sensation Jisshu Sengupta recently shocked fans by admitting that he dislikes watching his performances on screen, having largely steered clear of his own movies throughout his career.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, the talented actor expressed, “I have not seen most of the films I have participated in; in fact, it feels as though I haven’t seen any of my own movies.”
He continued, “I absolutely dislike watching myself. Perhaps 'hate' is too strong, but I really don’t enjoy seeing my on-screen presence. Therefore, I generally avoid it.”
Despite this aversion, Jisshu shared, “I’ve watched a few films. I adore Tom and Jerry and have a penchant for Marvel and DC movies, especially Batman and Superman. Those are the films I enjoy.”
Reflecting on his extensive career, Jisshu noted, “I've been in the industry for nearly 29 years, approaching 30 next year. Yet, even now, I refrain from watching films, particularly my own.”
