Mumbai, Feb 25 (NationPress) Actress Preity Zinta, famed for her roles in films like 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Koi... Mil Gaya', 'Lakshya', and 'Veer-Zaara', has fiercely responded to allegations made by the Indian National Congress in Kerala. The party accused her of spreading misinformation that she had transferred her social media accounts to the BJP, claiming she received a loan waiver of ₹18 Cr, leading to a bank collapse that left depositors in distress.
Without holding back, the actress branded the claims as “false news”. She countered, stating, “I manage my own social media accounts and it’s disgraceful for you to promote FAKE NEWS! No loan was written off for me. I am appalled that a political party or its representatives would engage in such malicious gossip using my name and likeness.”
