Mumbai, March 4 (NationPress) Bollywood star Pulkit Samrat disclosed the amusing reason he encouraged his brother Ullas Samrat to "act as if" his debut film “TAPS” posed a challenge. Ullas has taken his first steps into acting with Sudhanshu Saria’s short film, an LGBTQ+ drama. With immense pride over his brother’s initiation into cinema, the 'Fukrey' actor commended Ullas, noting he stepped into his debut like a seasoned professional. Pulkit remarked, "My brother has just made his acting debut in Taps, and what an entrance! Ullas approached his first film as if he had been doing this forever. At least pretend it was somewhat difficult!"
"Then enters Rohit Mehra, who perfectly complements this vibrant energy. Arvind, the film's director, has beautifully captured the essence of love. A heartfelt thanks to Sudhanshu for believing in this narrative. Congratulations to Lotus Visual Pro and Kashish Film Festival! Special thanks to Richa and Ali for bringing this film to life. I believe you possess some cinematic magic, as everything you touch turns out remarkably. Also, a sincere acknowledgment to Vinit, who, though not with us, is present in love's essence,” he continued.
His wife and actress Kriti Kharbanda also commended her brother-in-law's dedication, expressing, "Every so often, someone dear to us accomplishes something extraordinary that deserves global recognition. This is one such occasion for me. Ullas, I have witnessed your dreams, your hard work, your perseverance, and your patience. Look at the results—TAPS is here, and the audience is loving it!"
She further stated, "And who can blame them, right? But let me emphasize this: the real blessing is having an excellent team, and you were fortunate to have precisely that. You found an amazing co-star in Rohit, and a director who embodies love, Arvind. Sudhanshu, congratulations on not just recognizing such a beautiful theme but also for bringing it to life and advocating for it. Richa and Ali, I adore you both. Thank you for introducing TAPS into our lives. And finally, a new poster is launching today. Tap it, tap it, and you’ll see!"
Pulkit and Kriti have also shared the new poster of the film on social media with an emotional message.
