Mumbai, Jan 25 (NationPress) Bhajan Lal Singh Rana, the auto-rickshaw driver who transported Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan to the hospital following a knife attack, has received a special gift from social activist Faizan Ansari.
This unique gift features Bhajan Lal Singh's face superimposed on Lord Shiva's visage. Faizan remarked, “The act that Bhajan Lal performed is akin to that of Lord Shiva, hence this token of appreciation,” stated Faizan Ansari.
Last week, Saif was assaulted by an intruder who entered his Bandra home through his youngest son Jeh’s room in the early hours of Thursday. The actor reportedly made his way to the hospital independently, accompanied by his son Taimur.
According to media sources, doctors extracted 2.5 inches of the knife from his injury. The actor suffered multiple stab wounds while attempting to fend off the assailant, with six stab wounds in total, two of which were classified as serious due to their proximity to his spine. The incident unfolded when the assailant allegedly invaded their Bandra residence, attacking their house help before targeting Saif when he intervened.
Saif was alerted by the disturbance in his son Jeh’s room. Upon entering, he discovered the perpetrator arguing with their house help. In a bid to protect the house help, Saif bravely intervened, confronting the intruder with his bare hands.
After undergoing necessary medical procedures, Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday and was seen returning home in the Bandra area of Mumbai.
The actor donned a white shirt and jeans, greeting friends and neighbors as he approached his residence. His neck bandage was also visible through his collar.
