Sean 'Diddy' Combs Responds to Lawsuit Claiming He Endangered Woman from 17th Floor

Los Angeles, Dec 2 (NationPress) Rap artist Sean 'Diddy' Combs has publicly responded to a recent lawsuit accusing him of endangering a fashion designer by threatening her life while holding her over a 17th-floor balcony.

Bryana ‘Bana’ Bongolan has initiated legal action against the 55-year-old music mogul, seeking $10 million in damages, as reported by Mirror UK.

The lawsuit claims that this disturbing incident took place on September 26, 2016, following a so-called "freak off" party. In response, the rapper has issued a statement regarding the allegations through his legal representatives.

According to Mirror UK, the statement relayed, "As we have mentioned previously, anyone is entitled to file a lawsuit, irrespective of the supporting evidence they may possess or lack.”

The statement further elaborated, "Since the previous year, Ms. Bongolan has indicated her intention to take legal action against Mr. Combs and has sought legal counsel to advance her claims. Mr. Combs categorically denies these severe accusations and is confident that they will ultimately be shown to be without foundation.”

Combs' legal team concluded, "He maintains steadfast trust in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. The truth will be revealed in court, proving that the allegations against Mr. Combs lack merit.”

Bongolan's lawsuit was entered in Los Angeles Superior Court on November 27, 2024. She asserts that she was not part of the "freak off" event prior to the alleged incident.

The lawsuit states, "The only intention behind threatening someone over a balcony is to either kill them or to deliberately instill fear, stripping them of their sense of control over their own safety and physical well-being. It is evident that this is exactly what occurred to Ms. Bongolan.”

The fashion designer recounted that she and her partner at the time were asleep in a bedroom at Cassie Ventura's apartment when they were abruptly awakened by Combs banging on the door. She alleged that the rapper was intoxicated following a night of partying.
