Chennai, April 24 (NationPress) Actor Shanthanu Baghyaraj, son of the renowned Tamil film director Baghyaraj, emphasized that the terrorists in Pahalgam did not inquire about the linguistic backgrounds of tourists, whether they spoke Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, or Tamil. He urged the public to recognize that we are all Indians and called for an end to the "nonsensical hate and negativity towards each other."
In a post on his X timeline, Shanthanu expressed, "In #Pahalgam, they did not ask if you were Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, etc. They didn’t care if you were a North Indian or South Indian. Here, the enemy doesn’t need to waste time because we are doing 90 percent of his job for him… We are shamelessly fighting (or made to fight) over languages and borders."
He added, "Let’s remember we are just INDIANS and let’s remain united in that."
Shanthanu noted that bullets do not discriminate based on caste or religion, stating, "Bulletuku theriyadhu nee Enna jaadhi Enna Madham nnu. Let this be an eye-opener and a full stop to this nonsensical hate and negativity towards each other. #PahalgamTerroristAttack."
He was quick to respond to the tragic news of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, posting, "Deeply saddened by the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Silence and disbelief. Terrorism never ceases. It’s only ourselves for each other. Let’s stand united. Praying for the victims and our hearts go out to their families. #Pahalgamterroristattack."
