Chennai, April 10 (NationPress) Actor Shanthnu Baghyaraj has joined numerous film directors and producers in a heartfelt plea to internet users to refrain from circulating the leaked footage of Vijay's highly anticipated film, 'Jana Nayagan'.

On his X account, Shanthnu, while not explicitly naming the film or the actor, made a passionate request to netizens. He stated, "Someone's dream is bleeding online. Let's not reduce their hard work to a mere forwarded clip. Allow the film to thrive on the big screen instead of letting it perish on your phone."

Actor Sibi, son of the celebrated actor Sathyaraj, also voiced his distress over the leak, urging people to avoid sharing the unauthorized clips from the much-anticipated movie.

He remarked, "I am shocked and disturbed to learn about the footage leaking from #JanaNayagan! Those responsible must recognize the immense financial, effort, and determination that goes into filmmaking. I sincerely ask everyone to stop watching and disseminating these videos!"

Director Gaurav Narayanan has called for punitive measures against the individuals responsible for the leak.

On his X account, he wrote, "#JanaNayagan is not an industry to take lightly. It is the livelihood of thousands. Those who leaked and are attempting to circulate the links should face consequences. @KvnProductions @actorvijay Anna #directorhvinoth @Jagadishbliss and the entire team, stay strong."

Earlier that day, renowned Tamil film producer Dhananjayan expressed his concern that those sharing the video on X with fake accounts should be promptly blocked by the cyber cell.

He condemned the leak on his X account, stating, "Anyone sharing the video on tweets using fake accounts must be blocked immediately by the cyber cell."

Dhananjayan also urged KVN Productions, the film's production house, to file a complaint to prevent the leaked clips from spreading further.

He wrote, "The #JanaNayagan team @KvnProductions must file a complaint and halt the further dissemination of the footage. Reading #HVinoth's Instagram post saddens me. Stop the conspiracy theories; just cease sharing the videos on tweets and reels, everyone. Don’t jeopardize the revenue and future of Tamil Cinema."

Previously, the producer had expressed shock over numerous scenes from the film being leaked online.

He stated, "I am shocked to see many scenes from #JanaNayagan leaked online, including the introduction and climax scenes. Now, many are tweeting claiming the full film has been leaked, which is devastating. This is outrageous and should be condemned, no matter who is responsible for it."

Dhananjayan further insisted, "@KvnProductions must take legal action immediately to have all such links removed before it's too late and the film is viewed by millions. The film industry is becoming perilous and highly unpredictable with such threats looming. How much longer will #ThalapathyVijay's final film be targeted?"

For those unaware, a five-minute clip, alleged to be from Vijay's eagerly awaited film 'Jana Nayagan', has reportedly leaked and is circulating on social media, causing distress among its creators.

The leaked footage, featuring Vijay's introductory scene and a segment of a song, has sparked alarm and outrage within the film community, leading many producers and directors to voice their support for the makers of 'Jana Nayagan'.
