Chennai, April 10 (NationPress) The renowned Megastar Chiranjeevi and popular actor Sivakarthikeyan have called for stringent legal measures against those who leaked the recent film of actor Vijay, titled 'Jana Nayagan'.

In a post on his X account, Chiranjeevi expressed his profound concern, stating, "The regrettable leak of #Jananayagan is a matter of great distress. The film industry thrives on trust, dedication, and the shared aspirations of countless individuals. Such breaches impact us all and highlight the importance of safeguarding our artistic endeavors."

He continued, "We stand united with KVN Productions to mitigate the harm and ensure that the offenders are held accountable. Let’s collectively pledge to honor and protect CINEMA! End Piracy. Preserve Cinema."

Similarly, Sivakarthikeyan encouraged audiences to wait for the film’s official release in theaters. He posted, "Every film is crafted with the passion, effort, and dedication of numerous individuals—please refrain from engaging with piracy. Kindly anticipate the theatrical release and enjoy it in cinemas. Those responsible for the leak should face severe consequences. Respect the talents. Honor the hard work. Uphold the industry."

In response, the film's production team released a statement urging the public to refrain from interacting with any leaked content, warning that individuals caught in the act would face immediate legal repercussions.

KVN Productions stated on their social media platforms, "We, KVN Productions LLP, are the producers and exclusive copyright holders of the film 'Jana Nayagan'. We have observed that unauthorized persons have illegally accessed, copied, and shared scenes and clips from the film, which poses a significant threat of digital piracy."

The production house further declared, "Engaging in the downloading, viewing, storing, forwarding, sharing, uploading, or circulation of leaked content through platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, websites, torrents, or any other medium is a criminal act and a breach of copyright laws."

They emphasized that every digital action is traceable, informing the public that they have already initiated necessary investigations, including forensic examinations, and are actively identifying all individuals involved in the circulation of the leaked content.

"We will pursue strict civil and criminal actions against all offenders without exception. The public is earnestly advised against any engagement with leaked material. Anyone found involved will face immediate legal repercussions. If you come across such content, do not open, store, or forward it. Delete it immediately," the production house warned.
