Mumbai, June 24 (NationPress) Actress Shruti Anand, portraying Netra, the mother of Divya, in the series Divya Prem: Pyaar aur Rahasya ki Kahaani, recently disclosed that she endured bruises and body pain after filming demanding action sequences for the show.
Shruti confessed that upon reading the script, she initially believed it would be straightforward. With minimal dialogue and just a handful of action scenes, she anticipated a smooth experience. However, she soon realized her mistake.
The actress explained, "Wearing a harness for extended periods, engaging in strenuous fight scenes, and expending tremendous energy was quite taxing. Although we lack actual superpowers, we must convincingly portray them. For instance, in the first episode, I had to simulate stopping a moving train. Even though it was merely acting, I had to exert all my strength to make it believable."
Shruti admitted there were moments during filming when she felt dizzy from the exertion, necessitating breaks to recuperate.
"I often returned home with bruises and body pain from the falls and stunts. It was indeed challenging, but the experience was invaluable. Should I have the opportunity to work on another fantasy series in the future, I would certainly be more prepared and resilient!" she remarked.
Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani follows the tale of Divya, a young woman from Ujjain, whose life dramatically alters after meeting Prem. As their romance develops, long-buried secrets from their histories begin to surface.
Starring Megha Ray, Suraj Pratap Singh, and Kavita Banerjee, Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani is broadcast every day at 8:30 PM on Sun Neo.
