Los Angeles, April 8 (NationPress) Frontman of the pop group Duran Duran, Simon Le Bon, disclosed that he opts not to wash his hair with shampoo; instead, he uses clay and vinegar for cleansing his locks.

In a recent interview with the Sunday Times, Le Bon shared: "For men wanting to maintain their hair, the best advice is to avoid shampoo."

"I prefer a Moroccan clay called Ghassoul, and I occasionally use apple cider vinegar as a conditioner. Surprisingly, it doesn’t have an unpleasant odor after a while; it adds body and some texture to my hair."

He also confessed to being dissatisfied with the grey hairs in his beard, often dyeing it to prevent resembling “Father Christmas”, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

Le Bon remarked: "I dislike it when my beard turns too white - I either shave it off or apply some color because Duran Duran shouldn't be led by Father Christmas."

This revelation follows the news of Simon becoming a grandfather, as his daughter Amber Le Bon recently welcomed her first child, a son named Sasha Echo, with her partner Ben Mercer in January.

Amber expressed her joy to Britain's HELLO! magazine: "I’m completely enamored with him. I keep staring at him and wonder how I’ll manage to do anything else. All I want is to cuddle him and enjoy his scent..."

"We had two names on our shortlist, and when he arrived, I said, ‘I think he’s a Sasha.’ I have always loved that name. Echo comes from Greek mythology, and we liked how it flowed with his first name."

During her third trimester, Amber accompanied her father on Duran Duran's US tour, and her son has already shown signs of being a Duran Duran enthusiast. She added to the magazine: "It was the last chance I had to join him without considering anyone else, and we had a wonderful time.

"I was quite large and pregnant at that time, wearing sparkly dresses to all the shows and looking like a little disco ball, so we ended up calling the bump ‘Sparkles’, which was Sasha's name until he was born. Sparkles loves music - he’s already a mini-Durannie. He was definitely moving to the older tracks."
