Mumbai, March 9 (NationPress) Actor Taha Shah Badussha has shared insights regarding his forthcoming film “Paro”, describing it as a “project aimed at empowering women.”
While discussing this significant film on the green carpet at IIFA on March 8, Taha mentioned: “It’s a project that supports women. It’s a social cause film called ‘Paro’ centered around bride slavery. This issue is prevalent up north in Haryana.”
Directed by Gajendra Vitthal Ahire, the film chronicles the harrowing journey of the character Chand, revealing the grim realities of being sold as a bride, suffering abuse, and the heartbreaking experience of losing her son.
The actor further elaborated on how his life has transformed “180 degrees” following his role in “Heermandi: The Diamond Bazaar.”

Taha made his debut in the film Luv Ka The End, portraying an antihero in a groundbreaking role for the youth genre. He subsequently appeared in the 2013 film Gippi.
In 2015, he starred in Mahesh Bhatt's Barkhaa alongside Pakistani actress Sara Loren. In 2016, he featured in Karan Johar's Baar Baar Dekho with Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif, playing Tarun.
