Chennai, July 18 (NationPress) 'Cholanattan', a movie centering on the Tamil traditional sport of Rekla racing, officially commenced production with a ceremonial pooja in the city on Friday.
Produced by Mariyappan Muthaiya, a Tamil entrepreneur from Mumbai, under the Seven Hills Movie Maker label, the film is helmed by director 'Pattukkottai' Ranjith Kanna. The lead role is played by Udhay Karthick.
Insiders reveal that following 'Uzhavan Magan', which starred Vijayakanth, Rekla racing will once again be prominently featured in 'Cholanattan'.
