Chennai, March 17 (NationPress) Director Bharat Krishnamachari has revealed that his much-anticipated pan-Indian period film, 'Swayambhu', is set to make its debut in theaters this summer. The narrative unfolds during a time just before what is regarded as India's golden age.
According to Bharat Krishnamachari, “At one point, India was an economically prosperous superpower. Our story takes place right before this illustrious period, showcasing a time when we were on the brink of becoming a naval superpower.”
“Throughout this golden age, India thrived. Our trade routes extended eastward to nations like China and westward to empires such as Rome and Greece. We expanded our influence into Southeast Asia. The remarkable economic growth and technological advancements led many countries worldwide to seek trade partnerships with us. We were the dominant power during this era.
