Chennai, Nov 25 (NationPress) According to industry insiders, sword fighting specialists from Vietnam were brought in to train numerous stunt artists for the climactic scene of director Bharat Krishnamachari's historical action masterpiece 'Swayambhu', which stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Samyuktha, and Nabha Natesh in key roles.

It is already known that the talented actor Nikhil Siddhartha traveled to Vietnam to enhance his martial arts skills for the film. Remarkably, he became so adept at swordplay that he could wield a sword in both hands.

Recent reports indicate that the training was not exclusive to Nikhil Siddhartha; even the supporting cast underwent sword fighting training from these experts.

A source mentioned, 'A team of Vietnamese sword fighting specialists was flown in to train the stunt artists, who filmed the climax. Hundreds of artists participated in this grand sequence, which took 60 days to shoot at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.'

Produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, and presented by Tagore Madhu, 'Swayambhu' represents one of Nikhil’s most significant projects to date.

Recently, the filmmakers announced that the major production has officially concluded its shooting phase. After a rigorous two-year journey and 170 days of intensive filming, the team proudly declared the film completed.

Set to celebrate India's rich heritage and timeless splendor, 'Swayambhu' is scheduled for release worldwide on February 13 next year, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri.

Nikhil described the experience as both challenging and thrilling in a release date announcement video titled 'Rise Of Swayambhu', which provides a glimpse into the film's elaborate world-building.

Rooted in India’s cultural legacy, 'Swayambhu' will explore untold narratives from the past—stories that go beyond conventional tales of kings and battles. Central to the film is the saga of a legendary warrior whose bravery shaped a pivotal era.

In the video, Nikhil also introduced his horse, Maruthi, and acknowledged the outstanding technical team behind this grand production. He underwent a complete physical transformation and rigorous training to authentically portray this demanding role. Additionally, Nikhil is lending his voice for the Hindi version to enhance the narrative's authenticity.

The film features Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh as the female leads. The cinematography is handled by visual genius KK Senthil Kumar, with music composed by renowned artist Ravi Basrur. The production design is meticulously crafted by M. Prabhaharan and Raveendra, who have vividly shaped the film’s visual grandeur.
