In a heartfelt message on his X timeline, Vishal expressed, "...wishing my beloved brother a very, very joyful, entertaining, and fun-filled birthday."

The actor, who referred to Sundar C as his favorite director, stated, "... I am extremely thrilled to commence my next film #Vishal36 titled #Purushan with him for the fourth time following the monumental success of #MadhaGajaRaja!"

Vishal also shared his excitement about reuniting with Tamannaah Bhatia, who stars as the female lead in the film.

He mentioned, "Produced by Dhiya ACS, I am delighted to collaborate once again with my dear @tamannaahspeaks for the third time. It’s going to be an exhilarating journey filled with surprises from the timeless mass moviemaker, supported by an impressive cast including #YogiBabu and a formidable technical crew with #DOP: Gopi Amarnaath, #Music: Hiphop Tamizha, among others. The promotional video reveals Vishal portraying Tamannaah's husband, who seems to be a compliant spouse while she takes charge of the household.

As she enjoys a television show with a drink, Vishal is spotted cleaning the house. Yogi Babu, a television actor and their neighbor, enters with clothes that Tamannaah had hung out to dry, warning them of impending rain.

Grateful, Tamannaah praises him, subtly undermining her husband. She then requests Vishal to prepare tea for Yogi Babu. As Vishal heads to make tea, he senses intruders entering their home, leading to a chaotic fight in the kitchen, despite him trying to fulfill his tea-making duties. Yogi Babu witnesses Vishal defending against the attackers, oblivious to his husband's true capabilities.

The film’s soundtrack will be composed by Hiphop Tamizha, with cinematography managed by Gopi Amarnath and editing by Roger. The production is led by A C S Arun Kumar.
