Chennai, March 11 (NationPress) According to industry insiders, the crew of director Sundar C's film 'Purushan', starring Vishal in the leading role, is set to travel to Kolkata for the upcoming schedule after wrapping up its current phase in Chennai.

Currently, Vishal is engaged in shooting the film in Chennai. Reports indicate that this schedule will last for about a week, after which the team will proceed to Kolkata.

A source close to the actor revealed, "The Kolkata segment is expected to last around 20 days. Following this, there are plans for a song shoot in Goa. Once the song sequences are finished, the entire film will be completed."

It’s worth mentioning that the film's title was revealed in January this year to celebrate director Sundar C's birthday.

Vishal took to his X timeline to share a link to a teaser of the film, stating, "...wishing my darling brother a very, very happy entertaining and fun-filled birthday."

The actor, who considers Sundar C as his favorite director, expressed his excitement, saying, "...I am thrilled to kick off my next project #Vishal36 titled #Purushan with him for the fourth time following the grand success of #MadhaGajaRaja!"

Vishal also expressed his enthusiasm about reuniting with Tamannaah Bhatia, who stars as the female lead in the film.

He shared, "Produced by Dhiya ACS, I am delighted to collaborate with my darling @tamannaahspeaks for the third time; it feels amazing to team up after such a long interval! This will be a fantastic journey filled with excitement, backed by a remarkable cast including #YogiBabu, and an exceptional technical crew, featuring #DOP: Gopi Amarnaath, #Music: Hiphop Tamizha, among others. The title promo displayed Vishal as Tamannaah's husband. The promo depicts Tamannaah taking charge in the household while Vishal portrays a mild-mannered husband. As she enjoys a TV show with a drink, Vishal is seen tidying up the house.

At this moment, Yogi Babu, who plays the couple's neighbor, enters with clothes that Tamannaah had hung out to dry. Noticing the impending rain, he decided to bring the clothes inside.

Grateful, Tamannaah praises Yogi Babu to her husband Vishal while subtly criticizing him. She then requests Vishal to prepare some tea for Yogi Babu. As Vishal complies and heads to make tea, he becomes aware of intruders entering their home. A fierce confrontation breaks out in the kitchen, all while Vishal continues to prepare the tea. Yogi Babu, seeking a glass of water, witnesses Vishal handling the attackers, yet Tamannaah remains oblivious to her husband's true capabilities...

The film will feature music composed by Hip Hop Tamizha, cinematography by Gopi Amarnath, and editing by Roger. A C S Arun Kumar is producing the project.
